you talking about Klopp I take it, as he's the one whining in that piece.Yeah he is getting a bit annoying tbf.
Losing at Macclesfield Lincoln and Mansfield was a test of patienceI know mate I remember that too.

I understand what Petit meant I think. It’s not just about winning and losing, it’s about passion, commitment and entertainment. You can handle seeing your side lose and hit the skids if the players are giving their all, and are just falling short as they’re not quite good enough, the pressure then goes to the board, to provide resource.Lol, yeah I remember the days when Chelsea were a yo-yo club too. Battling it out with the likes of Oxford Utd and Carlisle in the old Div 2.
Saw a quote from Emmanual Petit this morning where he said he was losing interest in Arsenal because their performances don't give him any emotions. For me, you can't have the good times unless you're going to accept the bad times.
There's a famous quote about that 'If you can't support us when we lose, then don't support us when we win' or something like that, think it was Bill Shankly or maybe Bobby Davro, can't remember ...

But these days there’s far too often that you see sides losing games and not coming off the pitch having left everything out there, and fans can see it. Sides going through the motions or sticking too rigidly to a ‘philosophy’. When a club is up against it, fans will cheer a full blooded slide challenge as much as a goal.
Yeah I get what he meant. The headline is a bit galling, but I agree with him that we're giving nothing to get excited about. We've just become an insipid team that look clueless. We're making the same mistakes as we have been both on and off the pitch for a few years now, and I see nothing that looks like it's going to change in the short term either.
The joys of being a footie fan eh ? One decent win though and us Gooners will start to believe again lol.

I think it would be good for Arsenal to get relegated. No seriously!
It would give them chance to clear out the gutters, bring back some passion, find out who the real supporters are when you have to play the likes of Championship sides such as Middlesbrough on a cold November evening.
If things go really well, the money men will do a runner, and you never know, you might be entertaining the delights of Scunthorpe one day.

It would certainly give this club a kick up the arse.
Would be a disaster financially though.

that would be the least of your worries tbh
reckon you’d get chased on here
37 games to go…so you should be ok

The recruitment though. You were crying out for a commanding, quick CB, and he spunks £50m on a lad who can play, but doesn’t fit that mould in any way, shape or form.
