The red ****e are compensating for having such a ****e midfield by just not using it, and going for the hoof ball over the top or into the channel.

think you would call that a long and accurate pass. Not a hoof

Tough times being a Gooner.

Yep. We were ****ing abysmal the other night. And nothing I saw suggested it's going to get much better this season.

Through thick and thin though innit. The price you pay for loving your club.

Easy to say that when you've got the bank of Roman funding your success <whistle>

Chelsea looking decent this season though. Reckon you'll put up a good fight for the title along with Utd and City.

Lol, yeah I remember the days when Chelsea were a yo-yo club too. Battling it out with the likes of Oxford Utd and Carlisle in the old Div 2.

Saw a quote from Emmanual Petit this morning where he said he was losing interest in Arsenal because their performances don't give him any emotions. For me, you can't have the good times unless you're going to accept the bad times.

There's a famous quote about that 'If you can't support us when we lose, then don't support us when we win' or something like that, think it was Bill Shankly or maybe Bobby Davro, can't remember ...

We narrowly missed relegation to the old division three by 1.5 of a goal iirc. <laugh>
