Our home form was fcking woeful last season. No way he's getting away with that this season with the fans back in the ground. Having said that, he will have earned a bit of credit with today's performance. Our away form was the best in the league iirc. If he'd got a half-decent home form then we could've taken City a lot closer.
Mickey Mouse records don't mean much. Whatever next, the number of times he scratched his balls in the first half?
It is boring when Liverpool win, I agree. Might be fun to pool fans, but to all the neutrals we couldn't think of anything more nauseating.
Mate it was just nice to start the sesson with a win, see vvd back, the team looking sharp for game 1, tsmiskas filled in very well for robbo, harvey got some minutes, Salah broke a Micky mouse record.. but most of all and you can take the piss cos its fair enough lol..but best of all was hearing the Liverpool fans make carrow road sound like home for large parts of the second half. Plus ive had drinks so im happy
Just been on their matchday thread, it's a credit to them compared with many others on here. No blaming the ref or diving etc, no blaming the manager or board for lack of purchases, just an acceptance that TODAY they were outplayed. Refreshing to see a clubs supporters give the opposition some credit
Indeed, Highly funny that you're saying that as a Liverpool fan, but True nonetheless. Only Spurs fans excel at ref blaming more than Pool fans
I think the top four in general are pretty inevitable to be honest, hard to look beyond City, Utd, Chelsea and Pool, dependent on any key injuries of course but I don't see another side getting in above any of them this season. Whether Utd will challenge though (as in take it close to the wire) I think depends on if City pay up for Kane. If they get Kane I'd say it's game over for the league, if they don't and either go with Jesus for a season or buy a stop gap signing then I think you and Utd have a chance of the title, with you lot having slightly better chance in my opinion, especially now you've got Lukaku. I think Utd have some stellar individual quality but I don't think they're as good a team as you lot (and City of course). As has been said as well, three of the likely top four have elite managers and that could end up costing Utd.
