Just last week they did precisely nothing about 6 clubs bringing the game into disrepute, the idea that they'll now punish this is just rival point scoring. Keep it up though, I would.

two things.
A - they can punish the clubs. They won't, that's a different thing.
B - The media love all the hyperbole in football so would cry if the " big six" left. Think many fans of other clubs are of the view " If you don't want to be here then fook off". It would be the end of 400k per week, a global audience of billions, etc but if you think that's the end of football then we're not on the same page. The armchair fans can go elsewhere and take their money with them, I'm far from convinced that would actually be a bad thing for English football.

If the big six were to leave that's what the English clubs would get here presumably. Certainly not the hundred s of million the league gets now as you say that means the end of big contracts ect, from that all the best players go where the money is. That makes the English league ****.
Dunno why we on about the 6 leaving the prem anyway as that was never in the plan but there's pros and cons to both.
Personally I think the wealth the prem creates could be shared better. but to actively try to take all that money out of the game for me isn't the way to go tbh.
If B happened quickly it would lead to widespread bankruptcy in football as broadcast revenue would slump but costs wouldn't in the short term at least .
