Seen a few memes from Leeds fans today asking what would happen to them if they'd violently got a game called off. Look, I dont like FSG but we're nowhere near as MUFC fans are in their relationship with the Glaziers. H&G would be a better comparison. I applaud their right to protest. But let's be honest here, that game wasnt called off yesterday because of the protests - it was called off because of the violence. Ans had the SOS protests against H&G gotten as violent as yesterday, there just would have been repercussions. There wont be though. In fairness, I called those Liverpool fans out myself as idiots. But had I been in Liverpool myself last June, I'd have got in a car myself with a mask on and driven to the ground and the Pier Head, all horns and sirens going, just as several of my family and workmates did. And let's be honest, even that, and letting off rockets in your own back garden, got the Bald Eagle from Sesame street pious lectures on here and in several papers that are conspicuous by their absence here this time around, even though there has been actual, intentional, physical violence used. Its double standards on 'roids.
