Tbh I think west ham fans disliked when he first broke into their team...accused him of getting favouritism from his dad and uncle whowere coaching and managing them...then they hated him after he went to Chelsea and it kinda stuck.

If I am being honest I am glad he got the chelsea job now cos he ain't gotthe experience...honestly think he'll be a top manager ... just don't want it to be with them

I'd forgot all about his dad. Makes me feel old now....but not as old as Fosse. <whistle>

A bit of a "cart" and "horse" situation really. We play defensive, bland, defeatist football every game irrespective of the opposition. When we get points against Liverpool, Tottenham and Everton people say "a club in your position does well doing that" but when we fail to create anything against Fulham, Brighton, etc is what makes us a "club in our position".

It's pretty self fulfilling.

Thought you played quite well in all honesty but Wilson needs support/help up front and you need more invention in central midfield ... really like Schar... not just a good defender but also a clever player with an eye for a pass. Real difference today was shown in the quality in the moves that led to our goals ... plus Vardy is always a threat.

Fat as **** at the mo. Just agreed with my son whilst having a *** we're both gonna go all healthy. Gonna be all over @Chief and his fitness fred <cheers>

Didn't realise you smoked mate. I stopped in March, once all this covid shhite kicked-off. Not sure how'll I cope with it, once the Summer beer gardens open again. Although you do eat like a horse, and my eating increased when I gave up smoking.

Said similar on our board not so long ago. I was surprised he even got the Chelsea job, I get being a legend of the club and all that but he hardly done wonders at Derby beforehand, then goes straight into a top four club where Roman demands trophies. Well out of his depth. It’s not to say he won’t be a good manager in the future but he definitely needs more experience before taking a job like that.

Should’ve taken a leaf out of Arteta’s book and taken over a **** club like where the expectations are already low...
