It’s weird that you’ve basically come back as Ginge and now just windmill at people every night.
Just because I don't agree with you, doesn't mean I'm windmilling. What's up mate? you've been prickly as **** ever since I came back. We used to get on ok. Did you feel abandoned? Come on let it out. Tell Uncle Bluey all about it.

The first I knew of you being back you were having a row with someone else.

No but given you thought we hadn't been in Europe since 1890 in not surprised I'm having to hold your hand through this
You really are, in order to get those numbers. Beat ZTS Dubnica, a 2nd tier Slovak team, then got knocked out by Deportivo.
That's not European competition. It's a qualifier for it.
You're also including the 2001 Intertoto, where you got knocked out by Troyes.

@brb

Fans were better in 74 mind... 100s of thousands greeted the losing players of the coaches, but now even if we win we complain about the style of play..

I think that's not just us though I think fans in general along with game have gone downhill

I think football fans have a higher expectation these days, mostly in the higher leagues ie Prem. I'd put that reason down to money, that a Prem game is not cheap, once you take in all the hospitality costs for the day. And if people pay their money, they have an expectation of the quality of the product they see. The days for getting in for a sixpence is long gone, or whatever the price used to be.

Also if players are being paid multi millions, then that in itself sets a minimum expectation from the fans. Afterall you don't want to spend £80M and end up with a donkey. :bandit:

True. Spend 72m on a **** keeper. Something we would never do. <laugh>
