You’re too preoccupied with London’s top club mate, we’ll finish higher than you. <ok>

I started this by saying we ain't all that so finishing above us is **** all to brag about <laugh>

If you're happy with the football and results so far, after spending £250m then good for you...but unless either results or the style of football improves Lampard will be under massive pressure.

1 attempt on target is laughable for that Chelsea team

Not really.

We'll need to improve to finish top 6 but we're not a million miles away and perhaps more importantly we play without fear and we play to win. After watching 2 of last seasons top 4 play football with the handbrake on there is no doubt that CL places are up for grabs <ok>
CL places?

Bold.

'Concerned about their reputations.'

Roughly translates to hardly any ****'s buying it.

They were never going to make any money out it anyway though, as all they’re getting is the production costs covered.

I can see their logic, as they’re being labelled greedy etc and all they’re doing is broadcasting them, it’s the PL who set the price and them that’s getting the revenue. If they’re leaking stuff like this then it won’t be long until it’s either binned or vastly reduced imo.

Kinda answered what I was getting at.

Can't they just stop broadcasting it? I may have it wrong but I always thought it was Sky/Bt that told the PL what to do.

It won't last long if they're coming out and saying that imo. They're not even advertising the games. Presumably they're still making advertising revenue when they're on too?

At the least I think we'll see a huge decrease in price within a week or so.

The advertising revenue from those games will be relative buttons though, as the audience sizes will be tiny compared to the standard televised games.

I could be wrong but I think the initial deal for this runs out before the next International break in 2 weeks time. So if there’s going to be a change it’ll be then.

Yeah which is why they'll want to bin it as hardly anyone is buying it. I don't buy the reputation thing, it's hardly like Sky have a good reputation anyway.

If that's the case then hopefully it's scrapped/reduced after that.

If they were to drop it to a few quid people might take it up but I can't see myself paying to watch Newcastle and their swashbuckling football.

Interesting fact btw. The adverts you’re served up by Sky aren’t all universal. So we could all be watching the same game and we’d be served up some adverts that differ. As they profile their customer base and it’s also regionalised.

I buy it, as it reminds me of one of my favourite sayings - I’m more than capable of making myself look a ****, so I don’t need any additional help from you.

If it was incredibly popular with people buying it then they wouldn't give a toss imo.

Would love to know the figures.

Yeah exactly, but it isn’t, so they’re fuming. As they’re taking a large chunk of the flack for it & gaining nowt. In fact they’re probably losing as I’d wager some have cancelled their actual subscriptions off the back of this.

I will do soon, I'm going to bin it after the Masters.
