Wow, they way he screamed and fell over when Gibbs gently stroked his face gave me the impression he wasn't that hard, especially they way he waived imaginary yellow cards every time somebody farted in his general direction from ten yards away on Saturday. The guy is rock - I stand corrected.

Well VVD did put his stamp on the game with his two cynical fouls in teh first 90 seconds. Adrenaline helped him play through pain barrier. Just like VVD walking off the pitch.

You seem fair tbh, not like spin artist Astro. I still don’t think it warrants the injury ravished headlines but hey, that’s just me given the mess that my own club is in
Dreadful any of our CB's get injured, especially VVD because he's irreplaceable. But we're as much in this mess because we went into this season with only 3 CB's: one of those injury-prone and another out of form (played well last night though). Criminal that Liverpool didn't buy another CB in the window. Williams will have to grow up very quickly, and I predict we'll see Milner at CB before we get to January.
