Fair enough as there is less expectation at Spurs. Or is there? By Christmas, after the initial Jose bounce, Spurly was adamant that Spurs would reach top 4 at Chelsea's expense.

Agree with most of this, on paper this team should be challenging for honours. It’s really a matter for Franks personality to come across and gel the team he wants. It’s a big ask for a rookie manager but I personally believe he can get the best from this squad.
The good news is the brick has been loaned to Villa for the rest of the season but when the injured players come back there will be genuine competition for places. Also don’t forget most teams have had no pre-season which is another factor. I’m optimistic that in time we will be in the shout.
