Logically i agree but he does seem , and get , his team to play full on game after game . I fully assumed he would put out a much weakened team in the group stages of the EL but instead it was close to the first choice .
Personally think a number of big European clubs must be watching the progress he has made with Wolves and seriously considering him as their next manager .
That could partly be down to the novelty of Wolves being back in European competition and I only say that because we done very similar under Martin Jol when we qualified for the UEFA Cup for the first time in years. We got to the QFs having played primarily our best XI and lost to eventual winners, Sevilla. After that season we never really gave the UEFA Cup/ Europa League the respect it deserved, whether that be managers picking weakened teams despite facing good sides or players clearly not giving their all, ****ing frustrated the life out of me.
Be interesting to see if Wolves miss out on CL this season whether Nuno goes full on again in Europa next season, good on him if he does though.
