I believe watching a player gives a far better idea of whether they're playing well than the number of fouls they committed. Maybe that's just me I don't know mate.

Stats don't necessarily lie ... but they don't in isolation give the kind of empirical proof that you appear to think they do ...

Jamie Vardy came on after 60 mins for us in Monday night, had 7 touches and scored twice ... statistically that must rank right up there ... but I've seen him play a lot better in some games without scoring.
