“People can say it’s excuses but it’s [the injuries] pretty bad for anyone and I don’t think anyone would resist in this situation. We have matches to play and we go to our limits. Let’s see how we end the season."

Mourinho, speaking after our 3-0 loss to Leipzig.

<applause>
The injuries excuse is pretty pathetic.

Pogba and Rashford were our top scorers last season along with Lukaku.

We’re unbeaten in 10. Spurs haven’t won in 7.

Stan you will have to wait for Hiag’s response as he is boarding his chopper to go to his seaside retreat (caravan) and join all the other Spurs self isolators

The funny part is Pep getting so involved in this behind closed doors debate. You’d think he’d be the last manager they’d ask, considering he plays practically all of his home games in front of no fans anyway.
That comment has also been made on our board regarding our FA Cup Quarter Final with them. Playing behind closed doors would effectively turn into a home fixture for them.

Spurs had the base of a good squad some top 4 finishes and a CL final. During those good times if they had brought in players to strengthen the overall squad they'd be ok now. They didn't and then sacked the manager who made it all happen. It's quite amusing.

To be fair the champions league final was an embarrassment for them, and a peak in recent times that sadly for them will probably never be reached again

Hope the goon players are given the sll clear but wonder what that means for for the teams they have played recently...Everton and West Ham particularly.
