Might have mistaken you for chaos. Anyway var is ****

For me VAR in it's current form is a criminally wasted opportunity ... it should have been used solely for contentious incidents and to help cut out blatant cheating ... instead it has been derailed by jobsworth knob jockeys that have made it a scapegoat for their anally retentive incompetence... encapsulated in the directive that the match ref should not look at the ****ing monitors <doh>

Sometimes it does substantiate stupid absolute interpretations of the laws. But It also frequently gets decisions wrong and misses obvious infringements.

It's biggest crime though is that it robs the game of its spontenaity.

That's the clincher for me. I've always regarded the match officials as part of the game, and the drama that human error can lead to.

As long as the refs aren't bent and are well trained/versed in officiating, and try their best, then any errors of judgement should be just seen as bad luck for those on the wrong end of a decision.

Same for me <ok> And as VAR has shown, it still can never be completely objective anyway.

I'd rather live with a mistake from the on field ref, than see VAR **** the game up for fans.

Young kid they've got, very decent player.
He's no brewboy though :bandit:
Did they pay 50m for him? :bandit:

Why was Maguire celebrating his own goal yesterday<laugh>
