I've got a mate from Bolton who hates Man U purely because he was the only Bolton Wanderers fan in his class at school. Everyone else, in Bolton, supported Utd. Something like that would really make you resent your neighbours. Probably a similar scarcity of Cherries fans in Bournemouth.

Most people from Bolton support Bolton and hate United.

Their thick, ridiculously dressed, fans also routinely sing Munich songs to prove this.

If they go out of business, I would laugh heartily. (I went to school and 6th form there and my first job was in Bolton)


First game I ever went to was at Burnden. They beat us 3-0. First and only time I ever saw them beat us.

There is 'taking one for the team' or being a ****. I hope the arsehole got a 10 match ban for that. Disrespecting the team and the game.
