You can't remember what you've said HIAG. You said that Poch deserved to go because he was divisive.

You've now turned on Maureen after creating a sock calling him a God <laugh>

As always, you misrepresent what I wrote.

I never wanted Poch to leave, but if he had become a divisive figure - which appears to have been the case - then it was understandable why the board had to remove him.

My concern with Mourhino is that he will become just as divisive, so one has to question the rationale in his appointment.

I hope I’m wrong.

I’m not going to turn on the manager because of something that might happen.

One of the things I'm finding quite funny is that Jose has won things everywhere he has gone but I really cannot see him winning anything with that Spurs squad and seeing as he's been brought in to get some silverware it could be an amusing situation as he gets the boot before winning anything at all.

I am one of the few that still thinks he is a good manager
The season he got you guys second he said was amazing and now people are realising it
The level that city and liverpool playing at is ridiculous
Runners up 97 points last year no VAR
Jose knew that, something is very wrong in utd atm.
Talking to my boss the other day about what you guys are doing with raiola and if you are doing what i think you are doing good on ya.
It does look like it is an edwards thing at utd but will see.
Jose at spurs, got to give him a window, he looks to me like he is trying formations and players, i am certain if allowed he will do well, Spurs are a well run club from my outsiders perspective so we should see over next year where jose is at

This is a sensible, fair and honest appraisal.

It will be despised and attacked by the wumsters.

Although I am dry heaving whilst saying this, I agree with HIAG and Bumps.

Mourinho is still a good manager, you dont go from being one of the worlds best to absolute ****e.
He IS a different man though, his time at Madrid really soured him on the sport, and he appears to have no where near as much love for football than he did at Porto, his first Chelsea stint and Inter Milan.

He does have a habit of pissing people off, both within the clubs he is at and outside as well, and can be very divisive.
But he does win things, even with inferior squads like he had at United, he was still picking up silverware.
His stint at Spurs wont be long, but I wouldnt be surprised if he picks up a pot in the meantime.

I get the feeling he is wanted there to pick up something even if it is the LC so that they can just get that out of the way. I just don't see it though and don't feel that he's become a bad manager overnight but over a few years now. He is refusing to budge from the style of play that he likes and it no longer works (in the PL at least) because so many teams have changed to an attacking style of play. You don't go to many clubs that sit deep and try to nick a goal, they all press higher and look to get at you, being defensive against them plays into their hands.

Former Cardiff defender Chris Barker, who had an "outstanding playing career" spanning 17 years and over 500 league games, has died suddenly aged 39.

He was found dead at his home in the city on New Year's Day.

His death is not being treated as suspicious.

Barker made over 150 appearances for Cardiff during a five-year spell after joining from Barnsley in 2002.

The left-back played more than 100 times for Barnsley where he began his league career.

Then you’d never buy a player.....

Dealing with agents is a necessary evil unfortunately. Not all are to the level of self interest of Raiola it must be said though. They need further regulation and it’s on its way, with FIFA to cap the level of agents fees.

I agree and the amount we have spent on fees over the past few years is crazy.

However with all the money in football, they are just exploiting it all the same. If FIFA were to cap them, what else should they cap?

You're looking at him from the perspective of a football fan, I'd love him as my agent if I were a footballer tbh.

Well to be fair, and to repeat, he took a **** house rag tag group of players at United and finished 2nd in the PL, and won the Europa league and League cup.
So whilst I agree his brand of football may not be AS effective and/or as dominant as it was 10-15 years ago, its still good enough to win the odd pot.
Spurs wont be winning any league titles with him and their current squad, but they could certainly go on an FA cup run or something.

You may well be right but I just don't think so. Just a feeling that Jose's slide down the manager rankings hasn't finished just yet.

Agents should be paid by the player only. He's the players agent not the clubs so any money should come from the player. Agents shouldn't get paid twice for a transfer.
As I understand it the new regulations will stop agents being paid by both clubs in a transaction. You can make the player pay the fees, but it’d be pointless, as the agent would merely demand a much higher signing on fee for the player in order to cover it.

Mourinho is a wum master who operates at top managerial level.

That wasn’t a meltdown. He was just wumming.

It’s all ****z n gigglz with Jose.

Trust me.

Agree, with this, Spuds had their chances but their board didn’t want to fund it. With Maureen I fully believe they can again become a cup team once he flexes the cheque book.
