Yep, was thinking that too. Not sure about the court action, but I can see it happening this season that a team is relegated on the back of a dodgy VAR decision.

It's ****ing ****. It's creating more problems than it is solving. They should bin it off and leave it to the on field officials

The picture is not in line, so you have to question the calibration, if the pics are being lined by two seperate cameras, it's more than likely not to be giving a true reading. But what the fook do i know.

It hasn't changed anything, it's ultimately still a lottery whether you get decisions or not.

Watford were turned down a stonewall pen at Spuds while 1 up and our equaliser against them hit an arm in the build up. That's arguably 5 points they've lost from poor var officiating which could be the difference for them.

And as you say, which exact frame of the ball being 'played' ?

The moment the ball leaves the foot or the moment it makes contact with the ball ?

I reckon if it was the latter, you'd look at that again and it would be onside.

atm the lines are manually drawn in, but sooner or later the computer will do it automatically and it'll take miliseconds.

That sooner or later is still a fair amount of time away. The cameras used at present are nowhere near the required standard.

Even something as 'clear and obvious' as offside is still be decided on subjectively. The only tech they should use is goal line technology. Everything else is subjective, so you might as well just leave it to the ref and his officials.

It's similar to a live feed mate. You and me will not be watching the game exactly in sync. Our live feed might be seconds a part, it could even be as much as 2 minutes apart, it depends on so many different equasions.

Or at least let the ref decide using a pitchside monitor rather than some bloke miles away in an office.

Just bin it off, it's ****ing dogshit.

Like watching a different sport and it's not the sort of game I'm too interested in parting with my money and time to spectate.

I don’t agree. There’s nothing wrong with using VAR to eliminate refereeing howlers, that’s what it’s for. The dives given as penalties, the obvious penalties missed and the goal scored when the striker is a yard or 2 offside.

The way it’s being used is what’s wrong and that all sits with that useless ****ing plum Mike Riley. Who’s banned the use of the pitchside monitors and is applying the kind of ****e we’ve seen at this game.

Leicester h
Wolves a
Chelsea h
Everton a

Back in the bottom 3 mix come feb for us ne thinks ... more exciting than midtable

Getting the ref to check the onside monitor would be a start. At the moment it is ****ing useless.

Spurs getting VAR to help them again...

****ing disgraceful that that goal was chalked off
I remeber them spuds last sesson saying the introduction of var would see us finish arpund 12th this year.

Joke is.....theyve had more var decisions go there way than us <laugh>

People just find blame anything but the performance of theur teams imo... we maybe should have had to pens today and the ref gave a corner wrongly that lead to evertons 1st, but the reality is that everton played better football and scored more goals... that is why they won.. im sick of fans not crediting the opposition and instead finding any way to avoid it.

Well i can't say that Spurs deserve to be level in this game, but that's how much VAR has changed things.
