Europa league is a punishment the champions league was a reward the following season … playing thurs nights ****s a club for the following season and usually means a bottom half finish ….

Bizarre fact...
only spurs (2011/12 and 2015/16) and Man City (2010/11) and Chelsea (2012/13) have finished in the top 4 while play in that seasons EL...
4 times since 2005 (3 teams each season) so it is 4 times from a possibly 42.

So I is calling you out as a liar liar pants on fire mo fo <whistle->
Well obviously ffs it's my first port of call after our games, funniest thread on the site for a Liverpool fan after a win, well if you get your kicks from the suffering and rage of others it is anyway <whistle>

And I ain't no jonny come lately as you know good sir, I was annoying you lot over there when we finished 7th and almost went into administration <laugh>

Its vicious over on your board these days:bandit:

TBF, even the most vocal supporters of VAR have gone quiet. I see the man in charge of implementing it has giving it a 7 out of 10 so far!!
RIP football as we knew it. Right I'm off to get myself an open back truck for the BBQ's in the car park and a fancy dress outfit for the game.

Yeah I saw that - Doesn't look like we'll be getting a time limit either.

I quite liked Liverpool in those days :bandit:

We were the last league in Europe to implement VAR. Everywhere else, without exception, has implemented it in essentially the same way. Guess what? Our implementation is completely different.

If you leave things to clowns to organise the resulting chaos is hardly a surprise <ok>

I hate to point this out but you spent all of the last year telling me that the PL would do it better than elsewhere. I never understood why anyone thought that our sorry bunch of officials would be better in using it than others.

It's a myth that it's worked brilliantly elsewhere imo - The reason the PL are trying to do it differently in the first place is due to complaints about its use in the WC/CL.

What utter bollocks ... find me one quote where I said the premier league would do it better. You won't.

I am still in favour of having it overall, but not as it is right now. It is fundamental that the ref gets to see the monitor.

I thought it would mirror the TMO in Rugby .. . which works great for me .... what we have couldn't be more different.

I may have you mixed up with someone else so apologies if so, there was definitely a lot of people saying that though.

People rave about how well it worked in the WC and how well it works in the CL.

It's just typical English stiff upper lip ****e where they think they can do things better but in reality make a massive **** up instead...like Brexit.
