The thing is... Didn't you pull in less than 30 thousand for a league game, this season? I was gobsmacked when I seen it, hence it being stuck in my mind.

If only 30 thousand turn up because they don't like the stadium, how many do you think would turn up after getting smashed from pillar to post for a few years ending with a double relegation into the 3rd division?
The crowds at Sunderland are amazing for the 3rd Division - Would be great to see you break attendance records in the 4th division as well.

I keep forgetting about the Robson out brigade. They still deny hounding the poor bloke out of a job, to this day. The fact they can proclaim him 'One of their's' after their treatment of him is just so ****ing laughable!

Both teams will get at least 40 thousand tickets each. I think both will sell out in a matter of days.

There's very little cooperate for this game. We could actually be pushing for a record.

They got just under 40k which would leave about 10k tickets, though I suspect a lot of those will end up in the hands of fans.

I’m not sure if last night’s result in Madrid says how good this young Ajax side are or just how far Real have fallen.

Probably a bit of both. Real are an ageing side and have looked increasingly fragile this season.

You fcuked up massively, mate.

You said we’d go “all spursey.”

You went out on a wum limb, and you fcuked it up.

Did we “go all spursey?”

Did we?

Don’t try and twist things. Just answer the question. Yes or no?

****ing Hell Kipper that is some rant <laugh>

I called it mate, you’ve already been rinsed on this :

Dortmund will have to go for it, but that allows Spurs the chance to score, and the tie is done if they do.

We’re going to get humped tonight. A midfield of McT, Perreira and Fred isn’t going to have much hope against PSG!

Although it was a shock last night, it wasn't altogether surprising. They are an ageing side and most of their players are now past their peak.

They lost El Clasico at home last week and now they've been dumped out of the champions league in humiliating circumstances (taking nothing away from Ajax who were brilliant)

Expect to see Real now spending £200m in the summer and ramping up the Pochettino talk.

It’s the end of their season. The first time they’ve been knocked out of the CL before the semis since 2010.

They may try for Poch. Whether he wants to go or if Levy would allow him to go is another matter.

The pressure on Perez to act will be irresistible. I’d expect a clear out of several players and a substantial amount spent on new signings. It’s not as if this hasn’t been coming for a while now. Last year’s CL victory distracted from the fact that they finished third in La Liga, 17 points behind Barca!

Yup. This is the perfect time to join madrid if he was ever going to go. A rebuild, the team at their lowest. Not after last year when they won the cl.

I think it might actually happen the way poch has been rabbiting on in the press conferences recently

You know what it's like in Spain mate, it's all about Real Madrid and the media there are worse than here with sports gossip at times. From now until the end of the season and all summer it will be non stop speculation about a new manger and a clear out of old players.

The thing is, that Real do live up to the gossip as they are a club who have the resources and pull to chop and change at will. I do expect them to come in for Pochettino, whether he'll want to go is a different question though. I'd also expect them to be linked with just about every top quality player this summer too.

You overly fussed though?

I'm not, Ole has taken the right approach in accepting that we're in no position to win this competition. He's got to ensure we're in it next year and, possibly, win the FA cup. That's the script.

Liverpool could do a lot worse than throwing in the towel in a comp they won't win as well, they should be concentrating fully on trying to scrape back the league. Not that I hope they do or owt.

Not fussed. Agree about Liverpool. Their line up against Bayern could be quite telling. They’ve already thrown the FA Cup.

If Poch wants to win things soon he is better off at Spurs. To rebuild Los Ladrones will take several years as well as lots of money. The money is no problem but the time frame that any manager gets at Madrid will be.

I doubt he will go tbh, its only Madrid, they are a shambles of a club like Chelsea...Poch prefers order

We got mugged off mate. Again.

Yeah by the fee, but since he has left Tadic has basically said that the club let him go as he wanted to leave and return to Holland. He said he had offers from other places which were more lucrative but he had his mind set on Holland. I've always been one for if a player wants to go then let him, just get a good fee and move on. We didn't get a good fee which is where we got mugged off, but I guess as he only wanted to go to Holland rather than PL/La Liga/Serie A then the type of fees we could've got were dramatically reduced.

Did he ever play like that for your team? He was epic last night
