This Ajax side are reminiscent of Jardim’s Monaco a few years ago.

As amazing as they’re doing this season, what’s the betting that De Ligt, Ziyech, van de Beek, Tagliafoco etc will all join de Jong in getting snapped up by clubs in Europe’s top five leagues.
This is the problem with Dutch football. Ajax need to be more concerned about losing Ten Hag. He's an outstanding manager. Likewise, Van Bommel at PSV. Dutch football is on the rise, once more. I said last season, on here, that Ajax wold be a major player again, in the next few years.

checkatrade, load of ****e, and i can understand why most think this way.

but it's gonna attract a 70/80k final.

not bad for 2 league1 teams.

I'm more interested in seeing our red and white cousins from the North make Wembley...

@CBD saffy @Commachio @Joex..
I've never went to any of the games and won't be going to the final. It's meaningless, mate. It means nothing to me. This is a competition where 3rd and 4th division teams put out reserve sides.

I can't celebrate or get excited about that.

Both teams will get at least 40 thousand tickets each. I think both will sell out in a matter of days.

There's very little cooperate for this game. We could actually be pushing for a record.

A record at Wembley?
Why not. Portsmouth currently hold it for their match against Cardiff. Both clubs have big support and practically guaranteed to sell out. Not much cooperate there. It's a chance it could happen.

No idea mate, iv'e no idea what the record crowd is a new wembley, i thought spurs held it, or an nfl game.

Portsmouth and Cardiff were about 250 from full capacity, I think.

I've heard Portsmouth have requested 39 thousand tickets and we've been told we can ask for more. Whatever we get we'll sell.

Well that;s embarrassing. You'd have thought a prem or euro night would hold the record.

i'm not so sure it will though.

The thing is... Didn't you pull in less than 30 thousand for a league game, this season? I was gobsmacked when I seen it, hence it being stuck in my mind.

If only 30 thousand turn up because they don't like the stadium, how many do you think would turn up after getting smashed from pillar to post for a few years ending with a double relegation into the 3rd division?
