I agree, some saying that Utd were out of the blocks quickly but they didn't really create anything of note, I think it's desperation from some in that they are trying to find a positive from a terrible performance. Burnley away next and they haven't started well but I do fancy them to get something.

I disagree on this and your previous post, the bloke can't win can he?

You're wondering why he played open against Spurs and suggest he should have frustrated them?

Really, at home? And for doing this he'd then get slated for 'parking the bus' and get slagged off by the media anyway, but for a different reason.

It wasn't a terrible performance, until Spurs scored in any case, and we did create chances. That they were off target is down to Lukaku alone but they were still chances.

I went in at half time, metaphorically, impressed by the first half. Because it all went tits up thereafter doesn't erase that fact.

The collapse is mega worrying though but all it proves is Mourinho is right, our centre halves are all ****e.

He brought in Bailly and Lindelof to deal with that though, didn't he?

Jones and Rojo are too injury prone and Smalling can't play out from the back.
You'd have buyers for experienced, English centre-halves, so ship them out and bring someone in or promote youth players.
Fosu-Mensah's also had fitness issues, but he looks a better choice and he's out on loan.

He did, yeah.

No idea what the issue with Bailly is as he looked decent. Lindelof is absolute ****e though.
Half of it is in his head no doubt, and you can't guess if someone isn't mentally up to it, but the rest is down to being gash.

He was a mistake, expensive too.

Fosu Mensh is a hell of a prospect, as is Axel Tuanzebe. We should definitely have bought a finished article, kept those two at the club, and then shipped out Rojo, Jones and Smalling.

Why change at that point though? If he's going to change to a more attacking style of football then choose the right game.
You are right that a couple of first half goals and it's a different game though.

The CB thing is down to him though, he bought them so live with it and get the most out of them.

It'll be interesting to see how you play Vs Burnley.

Why not?

Perhaps the penny dropped that it was time to start playing some half decent football and to stop being so bleeding defensive.

Not all that defence is down to him, in fact he didn't sign a single.one of last night's five until the Swede came on, and all last night's collapse will have done is reinforce his belief that they can't be trusted and he'll revert back to playing dire, cautious football.

lol, he has bought defenders though, and they're not all injured, both CB's he bought were available, so actually yes it is his fault for buying worse.
You really should think through your arguments before posting them.

lol, FFS, I got the stream working at about 5 min mark, just shook my head and laughed.
~I think we'll win though.
You've picked a strong team, so you should do, especially now that they're down to 10 men.
Not sure about the selection, though. Why does he keep picking Rice as a central midfielder?
With him and Obiang in the middle of the park, you're going to rely a lot on Snodgrass and Yarmolenko out wide, I'd have thought.
