It’s indicative that no PL side has bid for Janssen. The other three came from Ajax - enough said.

Utd have squad depth in defense too. It’s just they’re no better than the starters. That’s their fault for overpaying for very average players.

Llorente was never meant to replace Kane. And yes, he’s topping his pension up because nobody wanted him in summer.

That’s your opinion. I disagree, as would others.

I agree we have more players, that doesn't mean its decent talent.

Fabregas has been past it for a while. He's the biggest luxury passenger ever in a game although he's good to bring on for 20 minutes.

You think Zappacosta is better than Davies and that Caballero is better than Vorm? I'm not sure anyone would agree with that.

Forgot about Moses he's probably better than Aurier. Included loftus cheek (RLC). He's probably on a level of winks in my book. Abraham is barely a backup striker. He couldn't even start in a Swansea relegation side. I'd have Jansen over abraham.

I was just interested in who you rated over who.

I just find it odd that Giroud's always seen as backup for Morata. I wasn't really trying to make a point in the argument.
It's too early to judge the benches of Arsenal and Chelsea, in my opinion, as we don't know who's going to be on them regularly.
Squad depth can be roughly judged, based on previous seasons, but the new managers change everything.

Yes but it's not necessarily about how many players you have in the squad but about the quality of the replacements.

As players and what they have done beforehand, what did you think of my assessment on the squad benches?

i know, and i reckon we are muggins for not selling him to you guys.

He is raw and has plenty of potential but they price you were supposedly willing to pay is something i think we should have accepted as i don't think he's going to be a brilliant player (i could be wrong) and right now he is definitely not worth that price.

Plus i dont think he suits our style as he can't hold up the ball very well

It's all a matter of opinion, though I don't think that you were unfair or biased.

A bench is often what a manager makes of it, anyway.
Peter Crouch isn't much use to Wenger, but he's a very dangerous tool for other coaches.
Sissoko is quite a crap footballer, but Pochettino has used him well as a utility player.
It's partially about quality. The other part is about what fits and what each man brings to the dressing room.

I see the point you're trying to make, and it did make me laugh, Pix.

However, for me it was always nothing more than ****s 'n' giggles - that's all it's ever been. With Mourhino, you always felt there was spite.

Sorry mate. I can see you’re distancing yourself from Maureen now that he’s on the cusp of another meltdown.

But you were fully wedged up his chutney chute when he made that ‘specialist in failure’ **** up.

Last summer Brighton wanted Janssen on loan and WBA bid £23m for him but he rejected both in favour of a loan to Fener. He's been injured this summer hence why no one will bid as he's expected to be out until Dec/ Jan.

No depth is better than **** depth, although thankfully for us, we have good depth in defence with the exception of Aurier, but I'm hoping KWP surpasses him soon enough.

Last summer Chelsea wanted Llorente before we signed him, this summer his former club Bilbao were/ are interested as were Napoli. Don't forget there's still three more days in which Llorente could actually leave.

I’ve no recollection of any bid for Janssen. Have you got a link?

I can’t see Llorente going anywhrre.

We did accept it, Levy was probably pissing himself but Janssen rejected them. He also rejected a loan offer from Brighton. Then ended up at Fener on loan and broke his foot about 6 weeks in.

It's almost as if, after a shocking debut season with us, he thought he was too good for Brighton and WBA judging by these comments:

"I could have joined West Brom or Brighton,"
"What would have happened had I joined one of them? I do not want to think about it."
"I do not think about it."

Bloke's an idiot, the loan from Brighton probably would've been best because had he impressed in the Prem he could've boosted his chances of returning to us and getting more game time or alternatively gotten a move to a higher profile club.
