Not the first time he's done that either!! I actually thought he was going to do it when I saw how close to the goal the free kick was.

Cheeky free kick, although if it goes wrong you look a bit of a dick.
 
Reposting this from the Spurs board.
A Wet Sham fan told me this story and showed me photographic evidence, so I'm pretty sure it's true.

One of his fellow Spammers went to the pub a couple of hours before yesterday's game with City.
He was being served at the bar and chatting to one of his mates about the bets that they'd put on.
He'd had a punt on Andy Carroll as first goalscorer, as a fool and his money are soon parted.

"That's not going to happen", piped up the barmaid, having overheard their conversation.
"I know it's not likely love, but you never know, eh?", he responded.
"No, it's not going to happen. He's sitting over there having a pint," she shot back.

Sure enough, he had a quick look and the Geordie Donkey himself was sat there drinking away without a care in the world! <laugh>
The fan even got a selfie with him.

We've got Fleetwood or Hereford ... can see that being televised if it's Fleetwood coz the TV companies love a story and Vardy was the first non league player to be signed for a million ... from Fleetwood ... rags to ritches ... wags to bitches ... has it all ... apart from the fact we probably won't risk him <laugh>

You're forgetting that United v Derby has to be televised, Merseyside derby is nailed on too.
 
Shrewsbury at home to West Ham should be nailed on. I'd fancy Shrewsbury to do them. Fulham at home to Southampton and Luton at Newcastle, also have potential for cup upset.

Instead they'll put the Merseyside derby on where both teams put their reserves out and some **** like Man United v Derby, where Man u win comfortably 3-0.

I'm old enough to remember the days when United had an FA Cup tie at Northampton - won 6-2, playing a full first team and with George Best scoring 4 (maybe 5?).... the FA Cup really was magical back in those days <ok>
