This seems like City's bad patch to me yet they've found a way to win everytime. The ****s. Can't help but admire that. The only way they won't win the league is if we beat them twice so next week is the big one. United win that and it's all still on.
It's official. Clattenburg is a bottler for handing out cards and Spurs went all crazy gang Wimbledon when we played them http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/42219327
Yeah I saw this and just put it on the LCFC thread (given how active it is haha). It’s a shame he felt he needed to go easy on Spurs so as not to be blamed for losing them the title when they never had it in their hands to lose
He’s admitted being lenient towards your players fearing the reaction from your fans. Bad refereeing but at least he’s admitted it now. It doesn’t reflect well on your club though
... nor me... I saw a joyous implosion of mammoth proportions that left me with a lovely warm feeling that still lingers to this day .... please log in to view this image
To be honest it makes no difference to our club. I doubt anyone gives any serious ****s. To me I think he's talking ****. If his mantra is that he fears the reaction of fans then he would always be accomodating that. I doubt that though considering some of the stupid decisions referees make. Saying it now just suggests he needs a bit of air time.
TBH I didn’t want the game until the last few minutes as I found it better to distract myself (tension was unbearable). From what I have seen since there should have been Reds in the match. Strange he says it now. Doesn’t bother me given how thsings turned out and if you’d won and gone on to win the league (which would have meant a collapse from us)’he’d have had questions to answer to anyway. As much as refs don’t help themselves, sometimes they are in a no win and that worked fine for him. Probably didn’t need mentioning now really
... he'll be on soon, no doubt ... he's been busy Xmas shopping for a credibility detector ... so far it's taken an even bigger blow with Sky pimping him up on the "Roll call" thread - only for it to be met with overwhelming mirth
Well given that we finished the job nobody can argue with it at least we don’t have to hear that if Spurs hadn’t lost the points they did they’d have won
