I know you only have a scratch the surface knowledge of football, but you can look at the table and see it for yourself if you like ?

Cut the crap, Pix!

There's winning, and then there's winning.

You know full well what I'm talking about.

Spurs trounce the European Champions (the real ones, not United playing Europe's equivalent of the Johnson's Paint Trophy), and Arsenal whimper to a draw against Eastern European plumbers.

Don't pretend that you don't know what I'm talking about! The lads know, and you are making yourself look foolish before them, mate.

Piskie making out as though they were playing Maribor or Madrid last night.

Lol funny

I'm not sure Arsenal are quite ready to play Gent, Bambs.

Some worrying developments Quentin ... I kid you not ... this is from the BBC Gossip Column this morning ... I've saved you the bother of going to your 'oracle' yourself ... no need to thank me, mate <ok>

Real Madrid will make Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino their number one target to replace Zinedine Zidane. (Daily Mail)

The bookies have reacted predictably <doh> - bit premature if you ask me - but the latest odds on the likely replacement for Pochettino at Spurs suggest that Big Sam is favourite ahead of Harry Redknapp and Sean Dyche, closely followed by "Wee Davey" Moyes.... personally I think Spurs should ignore the usual suspects and make an audacious move for Jurgen Klopp ... that would signal a real declaration of intent to the rest of the EPL:.. something like:

"The appointment of Jurgen is testament to our ambition and intent of having absolutely no interest in winning any cup final - it's all about league position". Daniel Levy

We live in interesting times Quents ... interesting times <laugh>

No we got through because we have amassed the most points. We have two games to spare so could even add another 6 points to that total.

Not doing much to dispel your ‘scratch the surface knowledge’ here Forrest <rofl>
Again, if one wants to argue that Arsenal only got through due to a favour from cologne they would need to balance that by achknowledging that the same could also be the case with spurs getting through two games early due to a favour from APOEL against Dortmund. Or Dortmund being crap

Yes we’ve won 3 out of the last 4 in the group, that’s why we’ve qualified with two games to spare.

This football malarkey is too complicated for you isn’t it HIAG ?

It's certainly not a good one, Bambs!

Quentin, buddy ... I called it yesterday on this very thread, if you recall ... and now the papers are saying the same thing. Looks like I'm far more knowledgeable than the BBC Gossip Column, mate. Perhaps you should subscribe to my column? You know you'd like that <laugh> ... although it's not really for 'scratch the surface' types tbf ...<ok>

HIAG has ****ed up again. By his own logic spurs have only qualified due to favours from other teams.

Dozy **** <rofl>

Spurs fans should gloat, that's the best result in recent times for them and it was earned by building a team of young stars and the opposition was as good as club football can muster up right now regardless of form.

United beat Spurs a few days earlier and we are getting stick for playing negative, sometimes you just have to do a job on teams like Spurs and shut them down, given how weak the team that was put out by us was, I think it was a good result. Even better now in fact.

Jose would have got slaughtered if Man Utd
had not won that game. Every PL team this season
that has not bus parked against Spurs has been
ripped apart.

Probably. The fact is though a patched up team beat Spurs without breaking a sweat.

Small margins perhaps but that's what happened.

If Man Utd win the PL by less than 3 pts,
your supporters won't be rubbishing the Spurs game
(or any like it) eh.
