English pissed thugs are nowt more than feral dogs mate, then the big russian wolves comes along, chews them up and then spits them out.
I said in the first half or certainly alluded to, that was why Trippier was the better choice ahead of Saka, because they wouldn't be able to bully and cheat Trippier as easy. That's no disrespect to Saka, just two completely different personalities and an age difference of a decade. At that moment in the game I'm sure both the Italian CB's were on yellow cards.
He got carded for that Saka had just done him and he just wasn't having it. Such a statement though, **** you young un.
Anyone see the Scotland flag with we'll be back with arnie terminator on it.....brill....caught it when Italy scored the equaliser.
Not quite sure I get you...you're saying if Trippier had been the one to have just nipped past Chiellini like Saka had done, then Trippier wouldn't have allowed Chiellini to grab his shirt? That the shirt grab only happened because Saka was young and being bullied? Chiellini would have seen it was Trippier and chosen not to do that grab for some obscure reason??
Never said that at all. My comments refer back to last night, where Trippier was challenging some of the cheating. Trippier is 10 years older than Saka, he will have had worldly experience of dealing with cheats. Nowt more, nowt less. I've praised Saka throughout, and will continue to do so. My comment was nowt more than a mere observation at two different periods in the game. Not quite sure what you are trying to read into it.
Trippier wouldn't have had the audacity of youth that allows you to skin Chiellini. Oops sorry need to log back into my Brb account back in a moment.
The players did themselves proud imo. Southgate has done well with England. I think he is a good bloke but as a manager I find his football boring but tbh if he had won last night no one would have given a ****. Glad he is staying on for the world cup...could well do well again but am glad he ain't the spurs manager cos watching that week in week out would be tedious. As far as the racist ****ers go I genuinely despair. I grew up in the 70s and hoped that the racism I faced would have gone by time my kids came along. They are now adults but the racist **** just carries on. ****ing depressing tbh...but it ain't a football thing...it's the world we live in. The fans getting violent is also just a reflection of some of the ****e in society. Thought that some of the community spirit at the beginning of covid might lead to a kinder world but guess not. But at least we can keep humming Sweet Carolina and look forward to mid August.
I sent Rashford a message tonight to say how proud I was of him and the team. I expect he's had thousands of messages exactly the same, even though mine will not get noticed, it just demonstrates, it's a mere minority that sour what was a wonderful tournament.
