In a sexual sense or football related
I've broken after five months and had a cigarette..
It's coming!
Love how getting to the quarters equates to winning it.
Very typically England fan reactions.
You all need to calm down lads, long way to go yet. Some very good teams left.
Although two play each other in Friday so that helps, one more down.
Still think Italy will take some beating.
I mean we beat the Germans bro, it’s the one international fixture for England fans that feels like a cup final every time we beat them. There’s also no point dressing it down, we are heavy favourites in our side of the group, no two ways about it so our fans are entitled to get excited at the first major final for many of them in their lifetimes.
We also need to remember that the atmosphere is not replicated in any club team sport, no matter who you support the entire country is building up a fever for football again, off the back of the worst 18 months imaginable.
I ain’t calming down and being reserved, we dusted the Germans last night and if we get to the final I’d fancy us against any of the teams on the other side as well.
Not because I think we’re fantastic all of a sudden by the way but because it’s at Wembley and because there’s no single team that have played great football in the tournament consistently.
No, I completely agree that on the face of it it looks promising and that the competition is opening up before us.
We've also been here before though. Beating Germany doesn't equate to winning the tournament, there's work to do yet and a calmer reaction would probably be beneficial to the team as the whole thing is now going to get ramped up out of proportion.
As for the fans, be great to play both the semi and (hopefully) final at Wembley but next match is in Rome with no fans so that's a stumbling block, although we should have the beating of Ukraine as we've a superior squad.
Prefer a bit of realism myself, I can jump around throwing beer at everyone if we actually win it.
Would anyone make changes?
Kane was prime for dropping and then he scored, although he has not played well at all. He looks one of Southgate's undroppables, which could be a dangerous thing to do. Then again, he might now find some form.
Would probably change Saka for Foden, or give Sancho a run, myself but the rest look set fair.
Depends on back three/back four regards to full backs of course.
