Tbf Ole got his team selection and his tactics right tonight. Can't fault him for that.

But what's more important is the performances from those players tonight, especially in the effort they put in. The question for me anyway is why they don't put in that performance every week.

Question for me is how does Maguire get back in the side?

Of course we know he will, easily, because Ole.

I'd like to think benching Pogba and getting the result will toughen Ole up a bit on this sort of thing but fck knows.

I have no idea why Maguire was out today, I didn't bother checking. Was he injured or did Ole want to "rest" him but done it after the newcastle game so it didn't make the headlines.

@Tobes Wijnaldum thinks Everton take things too far.

Wanna borrow Rylan bro?

Same amount of yellows each in last six meeting before Sats game.

Great to see that lad recover from his broken leg, the power of RS prayer and death threats.

Had a slight muscle tear I think.

Probably a blessing. Be interesting to see if he plays the same team vs Chelsea. Hard to drop Telles after that performance but he dropped Mata so I guess he’ll do whatever he thinks it takes.

Yeh Telles played his natural game with no fear. I have to admit while I was watching him I thought, how long before that's sucked out of him.

Which goes back to my earlier point. There's something wrong with our players' mentality, we're brittle. Could go from this to a drubbing against Chelsea easily. Could go 20 games unbeaten, then one poor result and the rest of the season snatch defeat from jaws of victory in every competition. That above all else is why I've come to think the job is beyond Ole.

Pretty sure serious foul play doesn't require any intent. Just to be reckless and/or endangering an opponent.

And you are right.

"SERIOUS FOUL PLAY

A tackle or challenge that endangers the safety of an opponent or uses excessive force or brutality must be sanctioned as serious foul play.

Any player who lunges at an opponent in challenging for the ball from the front, from the side or from behind using one or both legs, with excessive force or endangers the safety of an opponent is guilty of serious foul play."

We only got the one pen tonight Donga. Deserved at least another 2. I'm gutted tbh

Didn't watch. Daughter and her feller have come down with Covid. Just been up and back from 'Boro to drop off stuff for them before they properly isolate. On their garden path!

Seen Sky News though. You looked good. Mbappe is going to have to up his game if he's going to get his dream move to come to us and play alongside Sancho next season, that's for sure.

Bloody hell, not good. I've had to do the garden path drop myself for parents but only to protect them during lockdown. Hope all is well with your daughter and family mate <ok>

I don't get the hype tbh. I've seen him play a few times now and he's genuinely not good enough. You'd be better off bringing back Coutinho!

He's gone downhill rapidly since the WC in Russia, tbh. Could it be he's a flash-in-the-pan? Good luck to Real if they want to pay £200m for that I say. If he wasn't so injury-prone, I'd say Pulisic is a better player.

United beat PSG again and butthurt scouser claims half decent Chelsea winger to be better than Mbappe... lol.

On a serious note Donga I hope your daughter & her Mr will be ok.

They need to look at Ben Mee and his tackle on Winston based on this.

I hear that Kean stamped on a United player last night, Mersin saying it was no surprise as he is an Everton player?
