I've said from the start it's short sighted to compare them.

rafa came into a side leaking goals and a complete mess, but he built a squad and a good foundation before leaving.

Bruce walked into a stable side and Ashley spent more money than we ever have on one Window and he's done a fantastic job .. he kept the same boring system until it was safe to try another and the one we play now is so much better to watch .

both have done well for different reasons under different circumstances is what I'm saying.

Bruce deserves a shot... I think he will get it .. depends who knows what the Saudis will do...

Yeah I'm not comparing their entire tenures, just that he's improved you on last season with a worse squad.

I think football fans will need to start grasping the new reality. I'm already prepared for my club to play L2 football if need be, even Non League, I want all our higher paid players off the books. The main game now has to be survival.

I hope so, I know they've had coaches from us in the past. Main one that springs to mind is Ron Hillyard if you remember him, although that would have been Gravesend and Northfleet.

I don’t understand what’s going on in the national leagues. Still trying to hold the play offs for promotion and relegation. These clubs income is pretty much non existent at the moment, but they are being forced to continue.

I.dunno if it's a worse squad

Rondon was better than joelinton but maximin is a tremendous player ... bentaleb and lazaro are decent too...

basically Bruce has proved me wrong regardless and I'm the type of person that admits when he's wrong ... many don't and won't
