I went a few years ago under Pellegrino when we drew 1-1. Wouldn't worry too much mate, we'll be playing pre season friendlies there again in no time ;)


Went there with Gillingham for an FA Cup match as well actually @brb

I remember going to their ground when it was Boothferry Park, seemed a big ground in them days for our league, looking back on archived pictures, it's not quite how I remembered it, I had memories of it being grander.

I do remember getting them a few times in the cup, from memory I don't think we did too bad there, was it 2-2 or something like that. Without checking I thinking it was when we had MadDog, promotion season.

Game I went to was 3-3, good cup tie and a couple of cracking goals iirc. You lot got a late equaliser. Kedwell maybe? Think you won the replay too.

That would be it, 3-3 (not 2-2) - Yeah Keds, he went to Ebbsfleet after he left us, no idea where he is now.

I look back on that team and never realised the quality we had for what was possibly a L2 club then. Gazza, Payne, I expect Dack would have been around in the youth then. Oh and not forgetting Martin who went to a Championship club. Like I say, not bad for a League Two club.

He probably is a bit overrated but what's happened this season shouldn't overshadow the job he's done there prior to that.

It's mental that they spent as long in the league as they have really. Oddly things went wrong the more money they spent.

They're ****ed now mind.

fosse has been saying all season what a talented, young squad you have. with the best fullbacks in the league etc.
