VAR aided by that bollocks new handball rule.

A tag team mugging of West Ham and the game there tonight.

They wouldn’t have the rule without VAR.

They also haven't said how far it goes back, upto whichever var bod on the night to make that call presumably.

I'd like to see players be in an attacking position and if it strikes their arm accidentally then catch it and give away a free kick.

After all, if there's any accidental touch on the arm in the opposition half then you can't score a goal, may as well save the wasted 3 minutes n get on with the game.

The joy of a last minute equaliser like that, away from home on a Friday night, and then it’s ruled out for a completely accidental touch off the hand in the build up, ****ing bollocks rule that.

I also think this new handball law is complete bollocks, but it is what it is....for now anyway.

I'm not on about that specifically, it's the constant reviewing of every goal taking up loads of time and disallowing them for stupid and minor things that nobody would have looked at twice before.

You can't really celebrate anymore as a goal's not a goal until it's had the var rubber stamp. Scoring goals used to be the best part of going to the match, now it's seeing the opposition have one disallowed.

I just want to see the game and the decisions being taken in real time. Leave it to the ref on the field. The endless layers of bullshine with VAR is killing the soul of the game and robbing fans of the core joy of celebrating a goal.
