You would have signed Egan from Sunderland? A lot of us thought he might be good enough but he was never handed the chance. We were Premier league, tbh, so the drop down may have been what he needed. He's lining up next to Basham (Bash) I grew up around the corner from him and used to play in the same team.

Yeah I looked at his history, his career didn't get started until he came to us, was a bloody good player too. For some reason Sunderland didn't give him a start in the first team, but I suppose it depends what other players you had at the time. If it weren't for players like Egan we'd be playing league two football. It was a shame when he went but totally understanderable, he'd have been in the team with Bradley Dack, now at Blackburn. Surprised your boys never went in for Dack.
