When on nights in my last job our office was being refurbed and we were in a temp one for a while which was quite near the mortuary and the quickest route out (for a smoke) was past it. Now I'm not one to be overly bothered by these sorts of things but it was slightly creepy walking down a completely empty corridor next to the mortuary at 3/4 am in absolute silence, the fact half the lights were out at the time n some were flickering only added to it.
Exactly, Archie. I'm certainly not ruling out Arsenal going through. Indeed, with the advantage they have, it would be the mother of all bottle jobs if they fcuk this one up. But the worry remains.
In a statement, Tottenham said Vertonghen "suffered an injury to his nose" which resulted in "heavy bleeding". After being cleared by Spurs' medical staff - who followed Football Association concussion guidelines - to continue playing, he was later shown struggling to stand up. Spurs said they had been advised this was "the result of a presyncopal episode, a near faint". Girly faint then.
