Watched highlights of the 'Pool v Citeh game on MOTD ... looked a cracking contest from those...
From what I saw -
Foul on Salah was outside the box (quite deliberately) - his 'momentum' took him inside after the offence - correct decision
Liverpool goal - amazing strike - so good I thought it must have been deflected before the slo-mo.
Citeh penalty - yes there was contact but it was pure momentum after any chance of a goal was gone - no penalty
VAR ruling out goal and sending off - both aspects 'technically' correct by the letter of the law... I guess the only argument could be that Slobadzai's (Sp) red card was 'actuve' as soon as he's hauled Haaland back and therefore not part of the game at the point that Haaland returns the tug?

Championship at its finest. Little fannying about. Both teams attacking. Should have been at least a couple of goals in the first 15 minutes.
Always been a bit of a myth because of that **** song they sing at the start of the second half. Wednesday are a far bigger club.
