He always seemed like he was doing ok at United, whether ok was good enough not sure. Sometimes it's about the moment in time and the make up of a team, sometimes you find fortune at a different time and place. Bit like Kane going to Bayern how that worked out well for him as well. Even Lukaku still going strong at Napoli, yet most the fans wouldn't touch the latter with a barge pole in this country, we are a weird lot sometimes.
I love lolkaku

If only because the dickhead Chavs bought him 3 times<laugh><whistle>

Unofficial reports are suggesting he got onto the street when a barrier was lifted for an ambulance and he tailgated behind it. Hence the crowd anger towards him and his car before the he ran into people

Ah right, I was a bit concerned at first that he had been panicked into the events that followed, but if you get behind the wheel with something that influences your behaviour, then you only have yourself to blame.

And ironically, we are the only club he never performed at!
At Anderlecht, West Brom and Everton, he was a baller.
He was also pretty good at United, despite how some of their fans will try to spin it.
And at Inter and Napoli he was grabbing 20+ goals a season in all comps.
But us, the ****ing chumps who coughed up, accumulatively, £107.5m for him over two separate transfers, he was ****e.
He is a good player, just not for us, apparently.

Yeh funny as I can't lie.

You just don't have any luck with strikers much it seems.

My only worry is he might not get as long inside as people expect. Drug driving and vehicle offences are quite low on the barometer in terms of sentencing, hence why they've gone the attempted murder route I suspect.
They'll never make that stick, unless he has a journal or killer shrine at his house that announces his intent to murder a bunch of Liverpool supporters.
If no one dies, most likely he will be charged with driving under the influence, reckless endangerment and causing injury by driving, and at most he will get 8 years.
If he is a first time offender he will only serve 3.
Then again that is in a country with a sane legal system, over here they might just say **** it and convict him of attempted murder on a hunch, such is the state of our legal system.

Surprised he's not come out as gay with mental heath issues yet tbh

That should take about 7and a half years off his 8

It's like I said, driving offences and under the influence don't get much in terms of sentencing, certainly not for level mayhem and injury people incurred because of him. Don't disagree that attempted to murder is going to be a hard one to get pass a jury, but you never know. Sadly probably be out well in time to draw his pension.

Private prosecutions might be more successful if the individual has any money, ie financially wealthy, again unlikley though.

Fair enough after his Europa league final antics tbh

Bad attitude and not that good either.

20m seems fair

It's wise following the Liverpool model tbh.

Just look at us now for deets
Bro we ain’t gunna be signing keepers for 70/80 million. We are going down the Brighton route of signing young undiscovered talent for pennies and turning them into multimillion pound players.

I think you’ll probably nick one or two of our players over the next couple of seasons no doubt. Mayenda is going to be the star but he’ll probably set you back about 50m. We paid 1m for him.

Technically we didn't spend 70m on a keeper

We spent half the ford money on a keeper is more accurate tbh

Our club has been self sufficient and sensible with money and signings for years now.

Unlike some teams called something city

I'm always a fan of young teams and players getting the chance to shine so looking forward to see what Yor lot can bring to the prem this season.

I'm hoping we see a bit of Rio Ngumoha for us this season, poached him from the Chavs last year and he looks too good to held back for long.

No different to any place that has big events

Try getting a hotel in the isle of man for tt week that won't cost at least double for example

Same for carnival, prices go through the roof in local shops

And I saw score of people from Liverpool offering rides out of town and accommodation to stranded peeps yesterday after the car thing.
