You could say the same about Ivan Toney…
Apart from the appearances for Rangers, of course.
Apart from Charlie, Toon very quiet in here, they nervous about their game, hmm...
If Mason Mount can score a goal then four matches can finish 2-2

Yup ... they got him from non-league too ... and it was good that he turned around their history because they had never won either the FA Cup or the top division before he joined ... and a million pounds back then would still have been worth the same as when Leicester City bought Jamie Vardy ... oh no wait... inflation and daft football prices suggest an equivalent around £40 million ....
... but other than all of that ... you are bang on the money ...![]()
Cantona is widely acknowledged as the catalyst for Man U becoming the dominant force they were, they hadn't won the league for 26 years before he came along, and then they promptly proceeded to win everything after he arrived.
I'm not bothered about inflation, I'm just basing it on £1m spent. Cantona's contribution to Man U was clearly far more than Vardy's to Leicester.

Cantona did not contribute more to Manchester United history than Vardy has to Leicester City, you utter tube ... have you never heard of Messrs Charlton, Best and Law ... probably not![]()

Cantona ruled English football until he retired, the only year he didn't win the title was the year he got suspended.Gianluca Vialli from Samdoria to Chelsea the same year set a new world record... £12 million ...
