No, Rangers played an EL final in Manchester and pretty much smashed the place up and shat in every shop doorway.

They lost though, so all good.

Nah I was referring to the European final there when about 200k went down and ran riot.

The United things interesting though given Newcastle United was around before Manchester United was named.. It's a Jab.. Like their shearer jabs

As a 90s child it is enjoyable when they get beat/struggle. Less than when it’s Chelsea but still fun. 70s/80s kids probably feel similarly about Liverpool. Those Sucky’s age will be enjoying the post-Pep City barren years more than us.

Just different experiences then because it was definitely the other way round in Liverpool. The Celtic fans were scum bags when they come to Sunderland singing about Lee Rigby having his head cut off and **** like that.

It’s not a jab because you sing it to every club not just Man Utd. There’s nothing interesting about it either, everyone in the country knows Man U as UTD and that’s what they’ve always revered to themselves as. You’ve always called yourself the Toon Army. Now you’re copying their song and trying to be like them. It’s proper cringey mate.

Toon Toon is my favourite but that's Toon United sometimes and has been for as long as I can remember.

There's various Newcastle songs that contain United mind..it's because we're Newcastle United...At least we don't do Allez Allez Allez.

I'm not aware of any Sunderland songs mind but I bet naturally I'll not like them..
