The United things interesting though given Newcastle United was around before Manchester United was named.. It's a Jab.. Like their shearer jabs

 

As a 90s child it is enjoyable when they get beat/struggle. Less than when it’s Chelsea but still fun. 70s/80s kids probably feel similarly about Liverpool. Those Sucky’s age will be enjoying the post-Pep City barren years more than us.

 

They'll be back but until then I'm sure most fanbases are enjoying their struggle.

Just different experiences then because it was definitely the other way round in Liverpool. The Celtic fans were scum bags when they come to Sunderland singing about Lee Rigby having his head cut off and **** like that.

100%. I believe there’s less than 6k season ticket holders at Anfield who have a Liverpool post code. Everton have over three times as many as that with Liverpool post codes.

Toon Toon is my favourite but that's Toon United sometimes and has been for as long as I can remember.

There's various Newcastle songs that contain United mind..it's because we're Newcastle United...At least we don't do Allez Allez Allez.

I'm not aware of any Sunderland songs mind but I bet naturally I'll not like them..
