Roy Keane absolutely despises the bird between him and Redknapp but rightly keeps his mouth shut and accepts the millions for old rope from Sky. Actually think he hates Redknapp more looking at his face now.
That's the question mark that remains from him because I've not seem him keep it up for a full game yet, but he's a tremendous player.
Yeah he's only 18 though and this is his first season playing first team football so hopefully will come in time. Probably doesn't help that he's already our greatest hope too as it's a lot of pressure and responsibility for a young player. To be honest I think as a team we look pretty unfit which is unforgivable really. Too much training time spent on pretty 5 yard passes rather than the basics.
When Nunez ran back and stole the ball you could tell that he was knackered as he'd been riding challenges all game.
Potter, Moyes and van Nistelrooy top the latest bookies odds ... Southgate has been quoted as saying he"s waiting for Newcastle... Personally I'd like see us go for Mark Robbins or Michael Carrick ...
Reports emerging that Cooper's demise was sealed after the owners went into the dressing room after the Chelsea game and got a sense of the mood from the players ... One 'senior player' apparently commented that Cooper's tactics for the game were " ,,, a ****ing disgrace" and it seems he had banished Janik Vestergaard from first team training earlier in the week after a blazing row ... and had 'lost the dressing room'...
Did his groin early in the match against Chelsea yesterday; otherwise he's done pretty well ... he's no baller but he's neat and tidy on the ball, rarely loses possession and links up play well...
