Their squad is far worse than the one that got relegated in 22/23 so not really sure what their board's expectations of Cooper was. 16th is probably 2-3 positions higher than they should be based on the manure in that side.

I think it's a good decision if the replacement is a good one. Hes not going to do very well and I wouldn't leave it late.
It has been turgid and uninspiring mate - his tactics have been all over the place - cost us a win at Palace for sure - and Faes has been awful for both club and Country - yet has been undropppable...
Mavididi is one of our more creative players but has been unexpilcably benched time and again ... came on yesterday and again made a big difference ...
He's sent Cannon out in loan to Stoke where he's scored 8 and Souttar out to Sheff United where, until yesterday, they hadn't concede since August...
Ayew has not been too bad as an incoming but De Cordova Reid is very average and most fans would much preferred to have kept Cannon ...
