Ooohhh 5th placed trophy ... somebody move the cheese we've finally got something to polish How did you celebrate? Open top milk churn parade?
last message as this is dragging on and even boring me now but I never said 5th was a trophy, just saying I’d rather finish 5th in the PL than 1st in the Championship You hungry? You keep going on about dairy products
Agree .... and I'd rather have a relegation, a Premier Leagye title win and an FA Cup win in the last decade than .... just a cheese room ...
Absolute turd of a game finished 2-1 to Salisbury. Nice little ground albeit miles from anything. Pre-match pasty in the city was excellent and would’ve probably moved faster than the Bwood number nine. Cathedral was nice. Sort of place full of middle-aged overweight dads in ill-fitting short sleeve shirts looking forward to leering at the 20-somethings at work back in their IT jobs tomorrow.
Don't know if you are interested, but if you go on the Charlton board (L1), there's a pinned thread titled Groundhopping, loads of non league grounds the author has travelled to. Start on the last page 94 and work back, the last pages are grounds in Brazil, where he moved to, then around page 87 backwards, all the English non league grounds with photos, well interesting, absolutely amazing the trouble some fans go to groundhopping.
After reading the first six words of that I thought I almost certainly wouldn’t be but I will check it out. Hampton & Richmond in two weeks if I can be bothered.
Anyone else think United would be making a mistake selling McTomonay? I know he's not Rui Costa but he's pretty solid and always puts a shift in for them. One of the few who does.
He wouldn’t be top of my list but he’s not good enough to start and presumably he wants to be somewhere where he’ll be first choice. Feels very West Ham under Moyes but now I’m not sure. Newcastle maybe.
Basic as **** player but did seem to have a knack of scoring one or two crucial goals when they really needed it. Anything over £20m and I reckon it’s a decent deal for Utd.
McTomonay does seem to have a knack of scoring goals when most needed. I don't know what he's paid or his value, but I'm sure they've had far more expensive shhite players bench warming.
This is true. If he's happy to stick around and play a bit part then he should. The likes of John O Shea, Darren Fletcher, Ji Sung Park etc. made good careers out of that at United, and they were great squad members. He's on comparably **** wages though, so equally if he wants to leave and earn higher playing in a starting eleven, he should do that as well. He's never a starting eleven player at United, we need to aim higher. He's a very good sub though.
