Had a look at who’s still there. Marcus Bettinelli hanging around aged 32 and having never been anything more than an ok Championship goalkeeper. Honestly doubt Maresca would know who he is if he walked into the room.
Yeah never seen them win the league but also wasn’t alive when Spurs were last relegated. Anyone born before May 2023 has seen Lesta relegated though
It's right enough, big season for Ten Hag as he's been properly backed with some decent looking players this year. Hopefully get a couple more out this week, and then sign this Ugarte bloke. Don't think we need him personally as Casemiro has come back fit this season, unlike last year when he came back fat instead. As for deadwood, Mount you could say? Not sure how he'll get in now, with the emergence of Mainoo. He's not getting in ahead of Fernandes, and he is never a 'false nine' (whatever the **** that's even supposed to mean), so I don't see where he gets a game. Malacia has a long term injury, he looked a decent player before that but has been out for ages now. Antony is the other. If he can get in the team and have a run of games, there might be a player in there somewhere. Amad and Garmacho are ahead of him now though. As is Rashford, for some unknown reason. The other players mentioned are all in the team when fit, so don't see how they are deadwood. We lost yesterday to a team half of you are saying are top four candidates the very next day ffs! And even then, only to a dodgy offside. We're not the only team Brighton will beat at home.
And as has also been mentioned, Ten Hag has actually bagged a couple of trophies. Unlike the ones who are weirdly mocking him, like Newcastle and Spurs. Two super massive brilliant clubs who've collectively won **** all in decades. He'll need to win another this season of course.
R.I.P Sven Sven-Goran Eriksson shared a poignant message at the end of his new documentary film 'Sven'. He said: "I hope you will remember me as a positive guy trying to do everything he could do. "Don’t be sorry, smile. Thank you for everything, coaches, players, the crowds, it’s been fantastic. Take care of yourself and take care of your life. And live it.”
Not if they were born after May 2021, those kids will have lived through 1 relegation and likely another one in May 2025 Levels indeed
I haven’t seen any Spurs fans mocking him. Like you say 2 trophies in 2 seasons is decent enough. Although the league position last year should have got him the sack
5-1 in Munich against the Krauts one of best games I’ve seen England play. Shame he couldn’t do more in the major tournaments
Mate ... we've just won a league and had a promotion party ... might not have been the Prem or the FA Cup... but they were still within the last decade ... ... whilst you've just been specialists in mediocrity during all of those .. oh and that whilst finishing behind your biggest rivals ... Winner, winner, cheese for dinner
There were plenty mitigating circumstances that most United fans understood. He won't get that pass though this season, we have to improve.

No boast ... we did... it was an enjoyable season, setting a number of club records ... and I suspect our fans were much happier than yours come the end of it ... winning nowt again, finishing behind Arsenal again... and the most excitement being whether to stock more cheddar or Stilton in the cheese room
Finishing 5th in the PL or 1st in the Championship, I’d know which one I’d prefer. On the plus side you might get to win the championship again in 2025/26
