it was good to see De Bruyne get straight up after going down in the box earlier.

That Belgium kit looks awful, when comparing it to the French kit, the Belgium guys look soaked thru in it and I can't believe it's a different workrate - unless the colour of the kit makes it stand out more.

That does need some context. The best team he’s beaten has been a weak Germany at home. Qualifying for competitions and progressing in the early knockout stages is considerably easier than it used to be.

Yeah the Euros went straight to semis until 96. Last 16 not introduced until 2016.

When was world cup expanded to 32 teams? 90?

Germany win most probably our best result since we last won something still. Maybe Denmark actually.

We haven't had a single penalty shoot out which is a plus for me.

The football has been more open and attacking with some exceptions.

No real reason but hope Belgium ****house this. Something annoying about France and Mbappe.

Oh absolutely. If/When we don't win it I can handle Germany/Spain winning as they've been very good but bloody hell not France. They're awful to watch and seeing Belgium beat them would be fun. Though in fairness for France to win they'd need to beat some very good teams...
