This is arguably the worst United team since their relegation back in the 70s (it is IMHO) ... I say that as one who witnessed that relegation... and as one who didn't particularly enjoy it and certainly didn't revel in it - indeed I remember being quite saddened ... it was a case of a once great but, by then, ageing team that had many players past their sell-by dates (ironically one of them, Dennis Law, had moved across the City and scored against them in a win at Old Trafford) ... and yet it was still unbelievable that they ended up going down ... almost unthinkable...

... but this lot are definitely worse for me, given that the squad has been assembled from all over the world and at astronomical cost ... you can excuse lack of ability... but never lack of effort and commitment... and unfortunately they seem to have the latter in buckets ...

For me the Premier League needs a competitive Manchester United but the rebuild needed can't be underestimated... they are way behind the top 3 and whilst Chelsea are currently giving their supporters every reason to believe they can mount a challenge next season, United fans must be dreading it ...

I can't be arsed to go through loads of pages since this post, but as my notifications took me here...

I was thinking during the game last night, Ten Hag may well be known as some great tactician, but seeing how the players play for him, it makes him appear a hell of shhite manager - think l'd rather have a poorer tactician but a manager that at leasts gets his players playing, even if a lof of Prem players are Prima Donnas.

Didn't this all start around the time Ronaldo started kicking off, when he walked off down the tunnel. He can't get Casemiro playing decent, he can't get Rashford playing decent, these were all three top players and he's fooking destroyed them. The only one he got anything out of was Maguire, for all the shhite I used to give the guy, at least he did fight for his place, and I respect him for that.

I also remember the 70's United, is this the worst since, I honestly can't remember and I'm surprised you can Fosse lol. Oh I bet your comment regarding the Premier League needing a competitive United, went down well....I can guarantee it has with the number of pages since your comment.

Anyway, they sacked him yet, if not why not?

Yeah I wouldn’t bother either, nothing happened :bandit:

As for Utd, as I said on our board, they are ****ing gash right now, but we still go to their place and it’s a big game. I’m not underestimating that game as they still have potential to turn up

that said. If they lose to us. I don’t see how Ten hag can continue.

Fosse managed to shoehorn a mention of Leicester winning the league.
Just a normal couple of pages really

Managers like Ten Hag, who are tactically decent tend to have these good first seasons because the players don't need motivation. They're motivated by their desire to work for their new manager.

Now he's settled in and it's all routine, they need motivation again.

What strikes me about Ten Hag is his sheer lack of any charisma. Howe is boring too, but he is pleasant, Ten Hag is boring but seems to be unpleasant. Just a miserable overworked PE teacher.

Why would you ever go and want to play for a manager like that?
