Oh and that ****ing England fan band too can **** off.

agree I’m also for all football bands to be banned from football because they iz a bunch of fking *****ls……these ultras are a tad embarrassing and all….fk em off flag waving bouncing bunch fking ****s

lol if that angers you, google "Sheffield Wednesday" :emoticon-0136-giggl
Seriously....THAT I do find a bit cringe

Doesn't anger me it's just a bit tragic imo and deserves derision. It'd have been like us having a parade for the JPT.

Not sure what you mean by Google thing?

When you google "Sheffield Wednesday" fireworks start appearing on the screen going off.

A major one yeah but not a 3rd division play off for a bigger club though surely? Maybe if you're Doncaster Rovers or something but embarrassing for a club like Wednesday imo.

Even winning the third tier shouldn't bring a parade for clubs with top flight ambitions. Tin pot.

Yeah fookers coming down to the lower leagues and stealing our trophies. Although it's still one more pot than Newcastle have got for all their billions, maybe they could learn from the Wednesday model, drop a few leagues to win something. Anyway, more seriously, it's as bad as the TV coverage given to Luton's parade, they came third ffs.

I think the Luton thing is because they are the first club to go from the top flight to non league, then back again.
Quite an achievement when you think about it.
Also they are the little guy, I think their whole squad cost them less than £10 million and they have a 8k capacity stadium, so getting into the PL is akin to Leicester winning the PL in terms of the scope of the achievement

I'm not seeing this bromance with Luton.

fair enough, its just cos they are underdogs though, which is why people are making such a fuss.
Same as the Leicester love-in when they won the PL. People love to root for the little guy.

I don't rememeber thinking of them as underdogs, I just thought, oh yeah that ****te club Luton. They got chucked out the league because of financial irregularities, I suppose if you wanted to say they were punished and Man City haven't been, then yeah I suppose from that angle it's true.

I'll have a think about it, whether I should be cheering them on next season or not. I enjoyed Leicester winning the Prem, so I'll see if my thoughts change, because like Leicester they deserved to be relegated at the time, and these days they don't call it financial irregularities, it's called selling debt shares now. <laugh>

Luton being promoted to the premier league is comparable to Bournemouth and Blackpool getting there. It is nowhere near the same sort of achievement as Leicester winning the premier league.

Exactly this, I was thinking of Blackpool when I was writing what I wrote, but you made it simpler, using fewer words, I'd have just wrote war and peace then told bod to fook off. <laugh>

Blackpool yeah. Bournemouth spent fortunes of Russian money and would’ve been FFP ****ed if they hadn’t gone up.

Only thing Luton did differently is finish third with a very respectable points total while Blackpool scraped in.

Don't get it either

**** little place signs some OK footballers and get's promoted through the play offs.

Never ever ever ever happened before, that.

Blackpool are the ones that come to mind for me too.

Anyone who's been to Blackpool know its absolute madness they had a premier league football team

Can't wait until they start trashing a few places next season, and we all say what a wonderful club.

VfB Stuttgart v Hamburg
Bundesliga Relegation Play-Off 1st Leg

Stuttgart are 16th (out of 18) in the Bundesliga relegation zone
and
Hamburg are 3rd in Bundealiga 2, hoping for promotion

I know nowt about the Bundesliga other than that.

Looks like a full house for this game.

First minute goal by Stuttgart 1-0

Roma aggro. Didn’t see the game as I was watching a man in a dress called Polly Amorous singing to a room of lesbians in a field but sounds like he did well in a tough game.
