Lol. It was nice watching a match where my team won whatever the outcome but fair play that was a great second half. How Liverpool have picked up 9 points from their last 3 games is mystifying but I guess that's what good teams do.

So when Tottenham pulled it back to 3-3 I let out a whoop of surprise and my wife came in to see. After the "what is it?" was established she asked "who is it?" and immediately Liverpool scored and she said "is it Tottenham?". That made me laugh.

Realistically she'd noticed the name on the screen but the timing was perfection.

Sounds more like rivalry to me than any reasonable construction of an argument. United get loads of tourists, do we regard them all as real fans, if I got a ticket to go to United, would you regard me as a real fan of course not.

You wouldn't be able to freely get one, which is the point.

Nothing to do with rivalry, they're just not on the same planet. Never have been.

<ok>

I know someone who purchased tickets for Man Utd v Chelsea, I could probably have gone if I wanted I didn't.

I've also looked on the internet to check for your next home game against Wolves, I'm seeing sites where they are available to purchase, although I wouldn't because I don't know their genuine value, so I would have to check with someone what I'm buying is genuine and that I'm not being ripped off.

I accept they may not be as freely available, but I could get tickets. Season tickets no.

I assure you that they are on the same planet.

I'll grant you that they may not be in the same city as most of your fans though.

Watching the snooker final.

Table's running off all over the place for fooks sake.

Of course, from a ticketing site.

You can get City tickets from the City ticket office. You can't rock up at the ticket office at United and buy a ticket 'off the shelf'.

As your post on season tickets highlights, this also applies to other actual big clubs like Liverpool and Arsenal.

Anyway, whatever, you and me have no argument on this anyway. The idea that City have 'no fans' is bollocks, but equally the idea that they are some super club that everyone is queuing to go and watch is also bollocks.

Well that was easy enough.

I've not seen replays of the Jota/Skipp incident. On first viewing the first thought that went through my head was that if it was one of my players who'd made contact I'd be holding my breath until play continued, it felt like it could have easily been given as a red. I'd want to see it again though.

Might get some tickets for the Leeds game next Saturday then if it's so easy <ok>

Under the way the game is ref'd now I would say it should have been a sending off. Did he intend what happened next, of course not. I can only guess that was what Kane was arguing, it was still a sending off. I don't like players trying to get other players sent off, this is the trouble with Kane, dodgy penalty diving geezer, who's never won a club trophy, but is somehow a world class player and yet is now even bottling a European Spursy place for next season.
