That’s a great goal, excellent work by Perisic and a finish from Kane to match.

    Shame it’ll mean **** all.

Dread to think where we’d be without Kane this season, don’t think it’s drastic to say about 15th, possibly battling relegation.

Kane gets one back, giving Spurs hope, it's the hope that fooking kills you. :cheesy:

No way will Liverpool fook this up, no way...

True not this team, but then again "No fans" City have made the team on dodgy money. Then watch them compete

I keep reading this 'No fans' City, but what does it actually mean?

Their last home attendance was 53,482. I know some will be tourists, but United promote themselves to tourists to.

They’ve been one of the best supported teams in the country for years and got 28000 in the third division when crowds were generally lower than now. I imagine he read something on a meme.

Its not uncommon for them to have plenty of empty seats, they sell tickets very cheap when they dont play the big boys to try and fill the stadium

I managed to get a ticket for our game there just 3 days before. There were quite a few seats available. Just had to take out a membership as well. Can't get one for our home games - even all the hospitality are sold out.

Realistically, I think St James' could be expanded to a 60,000 seater and would be filled every home game.

I googled their average attendance for this season it's 53,221, so unless they are fabricating figures what you say appears untrue.

In regards to cheap tickets, there are a number of lower league clubs that sell ST's cheap, so they sell out every game but I wouldn't turn round and say clubs like Bradford and Notts County didn't have real fans because of it.

That would be like me saying Wolves don't have real fans because only 19,000 turned up when we played them in L1, yet their last home game against Palace they got over 30k.

Its not hard for any team to fabricate tickets sold, but you cant hide the empty seats, City often have empty seats

But every football club does that, even my own.

If you sell ST's, the club wouldn't care if that fan never turned up for the whole season if the customer has parted with their money. Some fans of big clubs, only keep the season ticket, because they don't want to lose the benefit of it and having to rejoin a waiting list at a later date.

Take me for example, I've been fretting over buying an ST, not that I really want to because I can't always make games, but my worry is if I don't buy an ST and we do well next season, will I end up like I did yesterday and having to scrape for a ticket anywhere in the ground.

If you want to go to a City game, you go on the website and buy a ticket, three if you want.
Always freely available, even for big cup games etc.

Massive club though, obviously. ****ing enormous.

Just been to United, 74000 and not an empty seat. Like every league game. Try going on the website for one of our tickets.

Sounds more like rivalry to me than any reasonable construction of an argument. United get loads of tourists, do we regard them all as real fans, if I got a ticket to go to United, would you regard me as a real fan of course not.

This supports the theory of wait times and the possibility of empty seats though:

Yet you could have your own block at Leeds ten years ago if you wanted it.

I think they might come available again if they are ripping off their shirts.
