United have been trying to claw back the aura of the Fergie era since they appointed Smeagol. It hasn't worked and the longer the clock ticks since Fergie's retirement, the less likely it becomes. They need to stop looking back and start looking forward. It's what Liverpool did, even if their fans didn't.

Not sure how any of that is true. Fergie's been gone 9 years. Employing Ole for 3 years was fanboy tactics nothing more on the part of Woodward as usual. Don't see how employing Ten Hag is harping back to anything either.

Was 12 v 10 last night bro.

In normal circumstances we beat you 3-1 this season

now now…you lost fair and square…not as though you lost 1 nil to a dubious penalty…you got slapped 3-0 with 35 minutes still left to play.

That was a pen…you cant push a player in the back…some you get some you don’t because some refs are too weak to apply their skill set in these situations and they just opt for the easy option of waving play on.

and that was a defo red card…Holding didn’t come to play football…he began the game like a ****…had no intention of playing ball with Son..thought he’d just try n bully the little oriental man…got fukt up himself.

The way that game was going you was never getting anything from it…we were better all night all over the pitch. Ramsdale was defo your MOTM

What I found ironic was despite Holding's attempts to "bully" Son, it was funny watching Son just outmuscle him and brush him off every time.

Tbh after feeling that inadequate, I reckon there was a part of Holding actually relieved to be sent off.

Karim Benzema became Real Madrid's joint second-highest goalscorer of all time and Vinicius Junior scored a hat-trick as Real relegated Levante.

Benzema, 34, netted a first-half header from Vinicius' pass to match Raul's 323 goals, with only Cristiano Ronaldo (450) scoring more for the club.

Me either.

McClaren was an excellent coach when he was last with us, and I'm assuming that Ten Hag still thinks this is the case. I doubt he'd bring a token figure in, it's a ridiculous idea.

Tottenham manager Antonio Conte declined to add his opinion on the decisions but did not hold back on his opposite number.

"He complains a lot," the Italian said of Arteta. "He has to focus more on his team. He has to focus more on his work.

"He has to continue to work because he's a very good [coach]. To hear someone complain all the time is not so good.

"At Liverpool [on Saturday] do you hear me complain about Fabinho and all the fouls? No. He can take my advice if he wants, but if not I don't care.

And he would be familiar to Ten Hag as he worked with him at Twente.

Woudl have liked an Arsenal win. Means they will need something from last game.

There's a load of fapping off about fourth place here that I don't get.

Why the desperation to enter a competion that you've got **** all chance of winning?

I suppose it's a different way of ultimately entering the euro league, with some lucrative group stage matches thrown in, but it's not a trophy and the only people benefiting from the commercial element is whichever 'board' gets its greedy mits on the cash, the fans get zero benefit from it.

Fair and square would have been 11 v 11 without a bent ref bro

I was right all along, Son is a top quality player, and with a bit of psychological coaching from the mind of Conte, he done Arsenal up a goodun last night. It was a masterpiece the judo roll, Son putting his two weeks military service to good use, in tang soo do style.

I'm surprised this was ever a debate. Sons a class player. Who said otherwise? My money is on Fosse tbh.

I suppose it's the same for Fosse who's been celebrating losing a conference league semi final all week.
