United have been trying to claw back the aura of the Fergie era since they appointed Smeagol. It hasn't worked and the longer the clock ticks since Fergie's retirement, the less likely it becomes. They need to stop looking back and start looking forward. It's what Liverpool did, even if their fans didn't.
Not sure how any of that is true. Fergie's been gone 9 years. Employing Ole for 3 years was fanboy tactics nothing more on the part of Woodward as usual. Don't see how employing Ten Hag is harping back to anything either.
