We were poor all over the pitch but still were more likely to take the three points.

We carried Gerard today for just the one cross. Can see him being benched against United

Yup but to be fair we didn't get the ball to him that much for me if Lukaku had squared instead of shooting straight at the keeper in the 2nd half we would have won...

Tricky game at the hammers today we have won the last 3 there I think but for some reason I still don't like this fixture...
I hate playing Everton in the league more than any other team, our record against you in my years as a hammer has been awful, especially recently.
For some reason it's the opposite in the FA cup and we've won all 4 that I remember.

Bilic may make a difference, but I'm not optimistic, I'd take a point.

Bilic has you playing well I think you will finish higher with him tbh..

maybe, but after the hatchet job McCarthy did on Payet, I doubt it. Disgusting, how he didn't get sent off is a mystery.

Grow up, it's a tackle.

Do you want the club to press charges for assault??

He didn't get sent off as it was a nothing tackle soft lad

pff, tackle, the intent was to hurt Payet. He elbowed him square in the face on 11 mins, which should've been a red, then finally did what he'd probably been told to do in the 33rd, put Payet out. He didn't even bother to mask what he was doing and make an attempt to get the ball at all, just the man.

So you thought you would go on the Internet and cry to the 3 Everton fans on not606 lol.... w a n k e r <laugh>

Well done mind reader<ok>

You should have a career in the police and save time getting the wrong people sent to prison<laugh>

Dry your eyes you mockney tit, he won the ball btw.

Won the ball? he didn't even get close to it. It was Valencia who was injured in a hard but fair tackle. But it was clear that McCarthy was out to 'do' Payet early on, elbow to the face followed by a tackle that Don Revie would've enjoyed.

So how can you tell he went out to 'do' Payet?

Can always get Nolan back as cover

An incredibly easy 3 points yesterday, we won the game 4-0 without breaking sweat. We had a gear or two in reserve, but we simply didn't have to work that hard to beat a truly woeful Villa.

The worst Villa side I've ever seen, they had absolutely nothing. The manager set them up in a system that had no out ball and we just swarmed all over them and the game was all over after little more than half an hour.

Deulofeu, Barkley and big Rom were fantastic. Special note to Barry as well, who had a very good game and bossed the midfield.

We won't get an easier 3 points all season. Villa are relegation certainties unless they change that piss poor squad dramatically in January.

We should have pushed harder to get more goals although you can never complain with a 4-0...

Great performance last night. We won at a canter against a very well organised Boro side who'd only conceded 2 goals at home all season before last night.

Deulofeu, Barkley and Stones were great again. Brilliant to see Bainsey come on as well.

5,000 of us there last night, great atmosphere before and during the game, hope it came across on the TV as it was rocking in the stadium.

Bring on the RS!

I listened to the game while sorting out the kids but caught the goals by rewinding. The only thing that annoyed me is that there is a good chance we will get reduced allocations for using smoke bombs again!!

Great to see Baines get some minutes as he is great backup to Galloway <ok>

Lukaku getting on the score sheet again was also good to see<ok>
